By signing up and using JetPay™, you agree to be bound by our terms of service. Important things to note about the JetPay™ Terms of Service Agreement are listed below:
- You are only allowed to create one JetPay identifier per subscription, unless otherwise specified in a subscription plan.
- Any attempts to misuse the site will be considered a breach of our Terms of Service, and your account will be cancelled.
- The site is easy to use. However, if you encounter difficulty in creating or activating your jetPay, the best thing to do is contact support.
Also important to note:
We do not hold any private key information regarding the crypto wallets that we make jetPay’s for. Nor do we ask for this information. All we do at JetPay™, is provide a service that allows people to create jetPay’s for their XRP wallets. And in exchange for providing this service, we charge an annual membership fee. Subscription payments are handled by PayPal. We do not store any of our users’ credit card information on the site.
*Using a Coinbase Wallet or other Exchange-Based Wallet for your jetPay
Coinbase is the premier exchange upon which to purchase cryptocurrency. They require a Destination Tag be used when sending XRP to a Coinbase wallet. Wether you use Coinbase or any other Crypto Exchange for your XRP wallet, they will likey require a Destination Tag. Exchanges use Destination Tags because they have one main XRP wallet for all incoming transactions. Then, the Destination Tag is used to route the XRP to its proper recipient. Therefore, if the Destination Tag is not included in the XRP transaction to a wallet that sits on an exchange, the Exchange’s policy is usually that you will not get your XRP. So as a Best Practice, we suggest that you follow the steps outlined in our tutorial videos. These videos show you how to create you jetPay properly, and make sure that the Wallet Address and Destination Tag are working BEFORE you use the jetPay to transact in XRP. We also recommend linking your jetPay to a Trust Wallet or a XUMM Wallet. These wallets do not require a Destination Tag for you to receive an XRP payment. We do support destination Tags. And so far there have been no issues. It is important to remember though, that the Wallet Address and Destination Tag must be accurate when you create and Activate your jetPay for an Exchanged Based Wallet. *Paystring is an Evolving Technology
JetPay™ is buit on the the Paystring open source platform. Paystring is an evolving technology. As such, Updates are issued frequently. When we update to the latest Paystring version, we have to disable the JetPay™ server temporarily. This usually only takes an hour. However, when we boot the server back up, any jetPay’s that you have been using from JetPay™, will no longer be active. But don’t worry. Your jetPay’s are not lost. All you have to do is log into the dashboard, and click Activate, to reactivate any existing jetPay’s that you have been using from JetPay™.
We value your privacy
None of your user information will be sold or transferred to any other site, except in cases such s PayPal, where your user information is required to complete the Credit Card transaction. The most we may do is send you email notifications from time to time regarding updates to the site, new features, or changes to our Terms of Service. Thank you for using JetPay™ .
